Well, the Nordgard card game is currently printing, so my role in the art and design stage of things is basically done. Now, it's time to watch things come together. Here's the site for that project, if you haven't heard about it: [link] ;)

Anyway, I was at ACEN and realized that there weren't any good Monster Hunter shirts around. I was joking around with a friend, and the topic of the Three Wolf Moon shirt came up, so I decided to make a Monster Hunter related picture. I'll probably try to print it on a few shirts to wear around at cons.

This was a quick bit of fanart, but fun to draw. Nargas are probably some of my favorite monsters. I think of fun fanart things all the time, even little story arcs sometimes but almost never get around to drawing them...
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this piece, as well. :)

There's one more quick piece of fanart I'm working on, then I'll return to the epic scenes.

Ooh love it! I like how their necks just extend into the light of the moon. Plus how you've made them look like they're howling at the moon looks really cool, and must have been a bit challenging considering their beak-like mouths X) you're interpretations on these monsters is really interesting, makes me excited to see this other fanart you're working on :D keep it up!

The howling was rather unusual. I tried to decide whether to draw them like that, or close the mouths, but I thought their toothy beaks are rather distinctive.
Nargacugas are some of my favorite creatures from the Monster Hunter series.
Hopefully, I should be able to finish the next quick piece of fanart in the next few days, too.

Having deadlines from that project helped me learn to work a bit more efficiently, I think.
