Here's another picture of my Guilmon costume, from another angle.
I had plenty of requests to wear it to next year's Anime Detour, too. I might try to improve it a bit before then, but I'm rather proud of how well it turned out.
<Replaced with a better picture>
It was inspired by the costume made by GuardianSandi,
I always liked Guilmon from season 3 of Digimon, but never really considered making a costume until I saw that one. Then I had to.
I walked all over the con on Saturday, but I never ran into her.
She was probably going to be part of the theoretical Digimon group that fell apart. I still finished my costume, though. The Guilmon costume was definitely the most fun to make out of all of them that I've done.
Maybe you should make a Digimon costume for next year.
One of my friends got a picture of her...and actually, I think my other friend got a picture of you! Xb
Your costume is totally awesome. What's it made of?
I've actually been trying to put together a Nohemon costume, but I haven't got the majority of the things I need...and I think the crow thing will be especially hard. D; But actually, I was thinking of doing an Elie cosplay for next year. Elie as in Elie from Rave/Rave Master. :3 It's a manga that I've been getting back into, since OneManga's got it up now.
Anyway, I'll have to try to hunt down a picture of the Angewoman on here. I heard it was rather good.
All of the separate pieces of my costume were carved out of foam, then covered with fabric. The main body was made from a red sweat shirt, and sweat pants, with a foam belly covered with white fabric. I can elaborate on any of that, if you want. I don't mind explaining the methods I used.
I'm thinking of improving it a bit for next year, actually. This was my first try working with foam and I think I could do better on a few areas, now that I have a better feel for what I'm doing. There were a few people who specifically asked me to wear this again next year.
I think I found one, but I can't remember where it was. Yeah, my friend said it was amazing.
Awesome. How long did it take?
It looks great nonetheless. How can you see out of it, by the way?
You should! Maybe I'll see you next year...hopefully, I'll have either my Elie or Nohemon cosplay done...and if I don't have either, I'll just wear my Masaru one anyway....or my Impmon Gijinka.

I sized pieces of it relative to the width of my shoulders. That was a decent way of avoided mismatching the sizes of different parts of the costume.
I'm planning on bringing it to Detour next year. Hopefully, I can get a Digimon group started off of this.
I wish I had gone to Detour...I heard there was an Angewomon too.
